Boise Botanical Garden

I remember several summers exploring this lovely garden with my infant son. This part of the garden was interesting to me because there was somewhere to sit and rest when the garden gate was in sight. This always intrigued me because the garden gate marked the entrance to the garden’s climax, the rose garden! Rather than rushing off to the next garden you could stop and take your time, savoring the scent of lavendar and sage. My curiosity usually got the better of me and off I would rush to see the roses on the other side of the “Pearly gates”.
