Portland LDS Temple
The title of this painting comes from the hymn “Hark, All Ye Nations!” and the lyrics, “Hear heaven’s voice thru ev’ry land that all may rejoice! Angels of glory shout the refrain: Truth is restored again!”
I enjoyed splattering “snowy” paint over the evergreens as the white cloud above is dispelled into many tiny snowflakes. Although the hymn suggests that angels are shouting for joy, I feel a great deal of peace in this simple and quiet composition.
