Moving up steps usually means you are about to arrive at your goal. These steps require making another choice to go left or right at the top. The final destination is hidden from view. I find many parallels in life when I cannot see the end from the beginning. I find that I can know I am going in the right direction and still move upward even without seeing everything myself. This is because I know that God does see what is ahead and will help me.
In this painting I played with washes and the granulation effect of different pigments. I was experimenting with a new color to my palette, manganese blue.
